A session for anyone wanting to learn the ukulele. Also a great way for existing uke players to come and join in with a play-a-long. We play at a slow pace, and learn new chord shapes and strumming patterns. Even if you have never played before, you will be playing your first song within 30 minutes.

It's a great way to meet new people in Tampere, especially internationals and English speaking people. Every nationality is welcome, and we have a wonderful mix of Finns and Internationals who come along.

If you have your own ukulele, please bring it. If you don't have one, we do have a limited number of spares. You can also borrow one from the library, of pickup a cheap 35€ ukulele at your local music store.

The session is held in English, and we focus on learning some simple songs together. If you don't want to learn to play the uke, but want to practice the songs on an acoustic guitar, you are very welcome to come and join us as well. Please be aware though that the focus is on beginner ukulele players.
